Kathryn Rhode

1908-2003

Kathryn R. Rohde, 94, of 1020 Hill St., Watertown, died April 29, 2003.

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church and burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.

The former Kathryn Moratti was born Aug. 26, 1908, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of Oronto and Julia (Kessler) Moratti. She married Armin Rohde on Dec. 2, 1939, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1979.

Kathryn attended grade school in Iron Mountain and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School. She also was a graduate of the Milwaukee Beauty College. Kathryn owned and operated the K Beauty Shop in Watertown for 52 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Henry’s.
