Anna
(Kalina) David
1871 - 1946
Mrs. Charles David, Sr.,
Her death was quite sudden and was
due to natural causes.
She was the former Anna Kalina and was
born in Watertown 75 years earlier, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matt
Kalina, Sr. In 1897 she and Mr. Charles David
were married in St. Henry's Catholic Church.
Mrs. David was a member of St.
Henry's and of the Christian Mothers' Confraternity as well as the Catholic
Woman's Club.
A woman of kind instincts, Mrs.
David was held in high regard by her many friends and acquaintances throughout
the city. News of her death came as a shock to them in the community.
The funeral was held from the Boyle
funeral home with services in St. Henry's church. The Rev. Mark Mueller
officiated. Burial was in St.
Henry's Cemetery.

There were two sisters, Mrs. Frances
Flesar and Miss Elizabeth Kalina, this city; and one brother, Matt Kalina,
Milwaukee. There were 13 grandchildren.
